Digital printing, video and print advertising have become the pillars of digital marketing for South America’s top football club, Argentine side Buenos Aires FC.
With its new-found success in digital media and online marketing, Argentina is set to win the 2019 World Cup in Brazil, which it won in 2010.
The Argentine champions’ digital media, video, print and digital publishing business has grown to more than $1 billion and is one of the world’s most profitable brands, with revenue of $8.7 billion last year.
Digital marketing has also been an important part of Argentina’s footballing history, with the club having been in the media business for nearly 100 years.
In 2017, the club won the Copa América Centenario and the European Championships in their first year in the top flight, while the club’s marketing and commercial strategy has been credited for their success.
Since then, the Argentine side has won three consecutive titles and secured its place in the Copacabana, where the semi-finals will be played in 2018.
This is the second time that Argentina has won the 2019 Confederations Cup, with Argentina’s best ever finish, and the team’s best result ever, in 2019.
The Copa Apertura in Chile in 2018 was also a success, and a major milestone for the club, with Argentinian star Neymar leading the way for the national side to win a fifth successive Copa America crown.
The club also had a successful season in 2019, winning the Copas Aperturadas de Mexico, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.
The Buenos Aires football club’s 2017 Confederations title-winning squad is led by former Argentina international, Lionel Messi, who has been named the Club President.
